For cycling, running, and outdoor adventure organizations

Turn events into community. Don’t just renew a roster.

MemberCrest is how outdoor clubs and event directors build year-round momentum. Publish weekly rollouts, group runs, or an annual marquee event, keep people active between seasons, and turn one-time ticket buyers into dues-paying members.

Free to start. Import your roster and go live in minutes.

The volunteer-board bind and the off-season drought

A single event or an annual renewal will not sustain the community.

For a weekly club, the route lives in a social post, the volunteer list lives in a text thread, and the group goes quiet between weekends. For an annual event, the year is spent on one week of revenue, and the email list starts over every spring. MemberCrest keeps the community connected, active, and funded the rest of the year.

Events

Events that turn guests into members.

A weekly pub run, a Saturday rollout, or a week-long tour uses the same page. Guests register, sign a digital waiver on their phone, and can join the club and pay dues in the same checkout.

  • Open public discovery

The meeting place, the course, and elevation when the route includes it, on one page a guest can open without an account.

  • Member, guest, and join-with-ticket pricing

Members pay their price. Guests pay the guest price, or join and pay club dues in the same checkout.

  • One roster

RSVPs and paid tickets stay with the event. Members stay in the club directory. Leave the second spreadsheet behind.

  • QR check-in and a drafted page

AI Event Assist drafts the page, tickets, and volunteer roles from a short note. On the day, scan a participant code from a phone.

Waivers

Managing waivers for rides, runs, and events is the hard part.

A clipboard at the start is easy to lose before the next Saturday. MemberCrest has waiver management built in. A signed waiver is saved as a PDF with the member, under the rules the club defines.

  • Legal name

The name the person signed, kept on their member record.

  • Date signed

The date and time of the signature.

  • IP address

The address the signature came from.

  • Waiver text

The exact text displayed at signing, saved with that PDF.

Volunteers

Coordinate marshals, trail crews, and ride sweeps without the group chat.

The work gets shared when people can take a capped role on the event. Aid station captains, SAG vehicles, trail crews, and registration greeters. Members and contacts claim a spot, and organizers see who is covered.

  • Self-claimed roles

Members and contacts claim an open spot from the event page.

  • A cap on each role

Three aid-station volunteers, or two sweep riders. The role closes when it is full.

  • Assign from the directory

Organizers can place a trusted volunteer, or take them off, for this occurrence.

  • Service history on the profile

Volunteer shifts show on the member’s events, next to the events they joined.

Digital passports, training challenges, and scavenger hunts

Keep the community engaged between events and through the off-season.

A landmark passport, a pre-season training challenge, or a local tour of partner stops. People can see the map before they have an account. They join the organization to stamp, earn the trophy, and climb the leaderboard.

  • Trail and summit passports

Check in at trailheads, summits, overlooks, or partner shops. The club places the stops.

  • Training before the event

A spring mileage challenge or a run streak gives people a reason to show up before event day.

  • Trophy and Crest

Finishers collect the trophy. A Crest can mark the person who brought a guest or took a volunteer shift.

  • A live example

Falls Area Bicyclists runs Bicycle Benefits: thirteen Sioux Falls stops, any three to finish, with a leaderboard and shared photos.

Also in the club toolkit

  • Dues and Stripe payouts

Collect membership dues and pay them out to the club through Stripe.

  • Branded website and blog

For directors of annual tours, century rides, and races

Stop fighting the 51-week drought.

A week-long tour, a 10K, or a trail festival can be twelve months of work for one week of ticket revenue, then a cold start the next spring. A supporter membership, with member-only tickets, an off-season challenge, and annual dues, keeps those people on the roster.

If one in five people at the annual event joins a $50-a-year supporter membership, those one-time ticket buyers become dues the club can plan on. That $50 is the club’s membership, not the MemberCrest plan.

The rest of the year: a training challenge before the event, member-only tickets, and a trophy when someone finishes.
